Placement Preparation
Overview
Campus placements test more than technical knowledge — a typical drive can include an online aptitude and reasoning round, a company-specific hiring exam, technical interviews and finally an HR round, and each stage rewards a different kind of preparation. Whether you are a final-year student aiming for a specific IT company or someone getting ready for a standardised recruitment exam, having a clear plan for each stage makes preparation far less overwhelming.
KnowledgeGate's Placement Preparation section is organised around these stages. There is a dedicated TCS track for TCS's hiring exams, a Company Specific track covering exams from Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, Cognizant, Capgemini, LTI Mindtree, Deloitte and Hexaware, and an IT Recruitment Exams track for AMCAT, CoCubes, eLitmus and CDAC C-CAT. Alongside these sit a standalone Aptitude track for quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning and verbal ability, and a Resume & Interview track for the stage after the written exam.
Most of these courses are built by Yash Jain Sir, and the Complete Preparation track adds live mentorship with Yash Sir for students who want broader guidance on their placement journey rather than exam-specific practice alone.

KnowledgeGate's placement preparation spans the full drive: a TCS track for TCS's hiring exams, a Company Specific track for exams run by Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, Cognizant, Capgemini, LTI Mindtree, Deloitte and Hexaware, an IT Recruitment Exams track for AMCAT, CoCubes, eLitmus and CDAC C-CAT, plus standalone Aptitude and Resume & Interview courses. If you are not sure which company's drive you will appear for, start with the Aptitude track, since quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning and verbal ability are tested across most placement and recruitment exams. Once you know which company or exam you are targeting, move to the matching Company Specific, TCS or IT Recruitment Exams course for exam-specific practice.
It is a mix depending on the course. Some, like the TCS Preparation Live Course and the Aptitude Live Course, run as live batches with fixed sessions, while most Superset-style courses across TCS, Company Specific and IT Recruitment Exams are self-paced. The Complete Preparation track's Placement Talk with Yash Sir is also delivered live.
Yes. The Resume & Interview track has a dedicated Interview & Resume Preparation Course covering resume building along with technical and HR interview training, plus one-to-one resume review and mock interviews. TCS also has its own Interview & Resume Preparation Course focused on TCS's process specifically.
Both. The catalogue includes courses meant for building fundamentals from scratch, such as the TCS SuperSet Course and the Aptitude courses, as well as shorter, focused options like the TCS Crash Course for students revising close to their drive. You can choose based on how much time you have before your exam.
Most courses across the TCS, Company Specific and Aptitude tracks are built by Yash Jain Sir. The Complete Preparation track's Placement Talk with Yash Sir adds live, conversation-style mentorship on top of the structured exam-focused courses elsewhere in this section.
